Workshop Description.

Every Buddhist image and temple is imbued with a powerful symbolism. As we learn to decipher this profound spiritual language we will find ourself transforming and gaining deep insights simply by gazing faithfully at Statues and their surroundings.

Learn to unlock the deep meaning hidden within you on this special course that translates the sacred geometry of temples and the transcendental forms of Buddhas and their surroundings into profound spiritual truths.

Teacher.

 

Gen Kelsang Rabten is the Resident Teacher of KMC Australia (Dandenong Ranges) and KMC Melbourne (CBD). Ordained in 1994, he has studied under the guidance of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche for 30 years. He has taught in many centres around the world including Australia, New Zealand, and South-East Asia.

Gen Rabten exemplifies the essence of the modern Kadampa’s way of life, brings a warm heart and joyful attitude to sharing Buddha’s teachings and the practice of meditation.

  • All meals served are vegan with some non-vegan options such as yoghurt available on the side.
  • We cannot guarantee allergen free meals and it is not possible for us to cater to individual dietary requirements. Our meals mainly use ingredients which are wheat free or gluten free, however there are times that the meal will contain traces of wheat or gluten, or the side dish is, for example, bread.
