Meditation and mindfulness techniques are time-tested methods for helping people (of all ages) rein in their distracted and anxious minds. Taking that boundless energy of children and assisting them in directing it towards a single object of meditation, their own breath for example, will bring great benefit to them.

A restless mind is not a happy mind and can give rise to stress and tension. By doing simple meditations this turbulence will reduce and they will be left with a calm, spacious feeling in the mind.

With a little guidance and instruction, the young meditators can readily tap into the joys of a peaceful and content mind.
