Current Class Topic

Meditations on the Mind: How to Create Mental Space.

Thursday 20, 27 Nov | 4, 11 Dec

Derived from the Buddhist Mahamudra tradition, these meditations lead you on a voyage of exploration of your mind through which you can discover your own inner potential for lasting peace and happiness.

The real source of happiness is inner peace. While our mind is peaceful, we will be happy all the time, regardless of external conditions, but when it is disturbed in any way, we can never be happy, no matter how good our external conditions may be. External conditions can only make us happy if our mind is peaceful.

Therefore, if we want to experience true, lasting happiness, we need to learn the secret of inner peace by meditating on the mind.

Teacher.

The teacher of this class is Colleen Isaacs. Colleen is an experienced Kadampa Buddhist teacher. Colleen’s friendly, engaging teaching style and clear presentation inspire people from all walks of life to find happiness and solve problems through the practice of modern Buddhism.
