Meditation Workshop with Gen Kelsang Tsalden
Sat 31 May | Brunswick
In our modern world, it’s easy to be deceived by the pursuit of external wealth; money, possessions, and popularity. How much time and energy do we spend chasing these things, and where do they lead us?
By contrast, in this course, we will explore the inner wealth of love, compassion, patience, and wisdom, and where these qualities can lead us. We all wish to enjoy our lives and help others enjoy theirs, but we are often distracted and confused about how to achieve this.
Buddhist nun Gen Kelsang Tsalden will guide us to recognise the limitations of external wealth, without rejecting it, and teach us how to cultivate inner wealth. By learning to balance material conditions with spiritual practice, we can avoid the extremes of materialism and neglect, and instead find the middle way. This will allow us to transform our lives and discover true meaning and lasting fulfillment.

Meditation Workshop with Gen Kelsang Tsalden
Sat 12 July | KMC Australia (Dandenong Ranges)
Anxiety and stress have become widespread in our busy, fast-paced lives. We often believe that our anxiety or unhappiness is caused by external situations or people, which leads us to spend excessive time trying to fix them, only to find that this makes our minds even more restless.
Buddha taught that the root of our anxiety, stress, and unhappiness lies within our own minds. Specifically, it arises from unrealistic expectations and exaggerated views of ourselves, others, and the world around us.
By learning to identify these underlying causes, we can begin to free ourselves from them. During this course Gen Kelsang Tsalden will guide you through effective ways of thinking and meditations designed to calm the anxious mind, helping to heal the source of these challenges and bring about lasting peace.

Meditation Workshop with Maria Mylonas
Sat 19 July | Brunswick
Many of us hold ourselves to impossibly high standards, believing that if we can’t do something perfectly, we’ve somehow fallen short. This way of thinking can lead to self-criticism, discouragement, and a constant pressure to perform resulting in stress and anxiety. It can also make everyday tasks feel overwhelming, so we end up procrastinating or we find it difficult to move forward in a meaningful way.
But perfection isn’t the goal—it’s a heavy burden we don’t have to carry. In this course, we’ll explore how to let go of perfectionism, quiet the inner critic, and cultivate self-acceptance. Join us as we learn to embrace progress over perfection and find more ease and joy in the process.
