Faith & Wisdom: Freedom from Discouragement Meditation Workshop | Sat 29 Aug 2026 | KMCA

$80.00

Workshop Description.

On our spiritual journey we look unflinchingly at the root of our pain, we come to understand ourselves, and we heal ourselves. Often we are impatient and want what needs to be a gentle organic process to happen quickly. Sometimes we doubt ourselves, fall backwards and make mistakes, and it is easy to become discouraged.

On this special course, Gen Kelsang Rabten will share Buddha's wisdom for how to keep our faith strong, how to protect ourself from discouragement, and never lose our vision of the person we are becoming. Through this inner strength we can arrive at our ultimate destination - the manifestation of our supreme and permanent inner peace.

Teacher.

Gen Kelsang Rabten is the Resident Teacher of KMC Australia (Dandenong Ranges) and KMC Melbourne (Brunswick). Ordained in 1994, he has studied under the guidance of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche for 30 years. He has taught in many centres around the world including Australia, New Zealand, and South-East Asia.

Gen Rabten exemplifies the essence of the modern Kadampa’s way of life, brings a warm heart and joyful attitude to sharing Buddha’s teachings and the practice of meditation.
