Companionship is one of our deepest emotional attachments. We long to have good friends, intimate relationships and to feel part of others’ lives.
However, there have been times in our life when we have felt lonely and disconnected, even when out with friends or in the arms of someone who cares for us, while at other times we have cherished some quiet time by ourself. This shows that loneliness is not the same as being alone.
In this workshop, learn to develop states of mind that make us feel close and connected to others, both when we’re with them, as well as when we’re alone. By practising these instructions, we ultimately see through the illusion of loneliness and never feel lonely again.
